We use the ‘Language Angels’ scheme to teach Spanish progressively, focusing on phonics, grammar and vocabulary. Children develop skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing, helping them to understand what it means to be a global citizen. By the end of Year 6, children are able to listen attentively and show understanding of the Spanish language structure by communicating ideas in speech and writing.
