Academy Council
The Academy Council at Wroughton Academies serves as a sub-committee of the Creative Education Trust Board of Directors. It acts as the local presence of the Board and is accountable to it. The Council may include representatives from various groups, such as the school community, local community, and other local organisations and businesses.
The main functions of the Academy Council include:
- Monitoring the academy's performance
- Engaging with stakeholders
- Acting as a critical friend to the Principal
- Promoting the academy within the local community
