Welcome from the Headteacher

Dear Parents, Carers, and Community Members,

It is my pleasure to introduce myself as the Headteacher of Wroughton Academies. In this role, I am filled with enthusiasm for the bright future that lies ahead for our school community.

Our Mission and Values

At Wroughton Academies, our mission is clear: 'Through the highest expectations, we ensure that children have the knowledge, understanding and skills to be confident and successful.' This mission, created collaboratively by all staff at Wroughton Infant and Junior Academies, underpins everything we do.

We believe that the culture at Wroughton is a key ingredient in ensuring children achieve excellence. Our approach to education encompasses:

  • Academic Excellence: Delivering a challenging curriculum that fosters critical thinking and intellectual curiosity.
  • Emotional Intelligence: Cultivating a supportive environment where children develop resilience and self-awareness.

Building on Strong Foundations

While I am new to Wroughton Academies, I am impressed by the strong foundations already in place. I look forward to collaborating with our dedicated staff, supportive parents, and the wider community to further enhance the educational experience for every child.

Open Communication

I believe in the importance of transparent and open communication. Our school office is open daily during term time, between 8.30 AM and 3:45 PM Monday to Friday. I welcome your insights, concerns, and ideas as we work together to create the best possible learning environment for our students.

As we begin this new chapter, I am excited about the potential for growth and innovation at Wroughton Academies. Through our collective efforts, we will strive to create an enriching, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
