Autumn Attendance 23/09/2024
Wroughton Academies Attendance Update - Autumn Term 2024
We are pleased to share an update on attendance figures for Wroughton Academies so far this term.
Currently, Wroughton Infant Academy is achieving 94.1% attendance, while Wroughton Junior Academy is at 95.1%. These figures compare favourably to the national average from last year of 94.2%.
We are proud of our students and families for their commitment to regular school attendance, but we also want to emphasise how important it is for us to exceed the national average. A special congratulations goes out to Class 1AO in the Infant Academy and Class 6SP in the Junior Academy for having the best attendance rates in their respective schools. Well done to these classes for setting such a positive example!
Regular school attendance is crucial for children's academic, social, and personal development. Students who attend school consistently are more likely to achieve better grades, develop stronger relationships with peers and teachers, and build important life skills. Every day in the classroom contributes to a child's growth and learning journey.
We encourage all our families to continue prioritising school attendance. By working together, we can ensure that every student at Wroughton Academies has the best opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
Let's keep up the great work and aim to surpass last year's national average!
If you have any concerns about your child's attendance, please don't hesitate to reach out to our staff for support.
